Our Team

Mark Young is the son of Financial Director Andrew Young and is one of four fourth-generation family members now actively involved in the business. Mark joined Wimbledon Offices Ltd in November 2024. After an initial twelve months with the company, which included six months as Assistant Managing Director, Mark was appointed Managing Director with effect from November 2025, succeeding Jean. Mark is focused on guiding the company into its next phase of growth and stewardship, while ensuring high standards of service for all tenants. He is committed to building upon the strong foundations of the business, ensuring continued stability and value for our assets.

Sister of Jean and Andrew, has recently joined the company to focus on the development of new buildings and is currently leading the redevelopment of 247 The Broadway. Pauline enjoys the planning, organisation, and challenge of building projects. She lives in Hertfordshire and enjoys golf, gardening and walking.

Daughter of David M Young, Jean joined RRC working in the accounts department. After a period away to have a family, she returned to work on a part-time basis to help with the accounts and became increasingly more active in other parts of the business. In 2005, she was appointed Managing Director, a role she successfully held for 20 years. As of November 2025, Jean has transitioned to the role of Operations Consultant. During her two decades as MD, she was instrumental in keeping letting levels and rental income at a high level. She is renowned for being very much hands-on and has extensive experience in all operational matters, which now provides valuable support to the team in her consulting role. Jean enjoys getting to know all the tenants in the offices and flats, and it is particularly satisfying seeing companies growing and being able to help with their expanding office needs. She is a keen sportswoman and has completed the London marathon and several triathlons including a half ironman. She grows a selection of fruit and vegetables at her allotment.

Brother of Jean, was Principal of RRC from 1985 to 2000, and from 1993 he became increasingly involved in the property side of the business.  He managed the development of The Courtyard. Prior to joining the business in 1978 he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Outside interests include travelling, the theatre and playing Bridge.

As the Operations Director of Wimbledon Offices Ltd, Daniel Akerman brings a wealth of experience in facilities management. Having joined the company in October 2018, he has quickly established himself as a valuable member of the team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business as well as handling HR matters. Beyond his professional life, Daniel is an avid fisherman and enjoys travelling.

Luke Taylor, the son of Jean Taylor, was the first member of the fourth generation of the family to be employed by the business. Luke demonstrated a commitment to the properties from an early age, insisting on working during his school holidays, where he particularly enjoyed electrical tasks. This practical interest led him to officially join the staff part-time in 2006, working on the maintenance team whilst studying for his professional electrical qualifications. Now an integral part of the operational team, Luke is passionate about ensuring the seamless running of our buildings, focusing on seeing the infrastructure at all our properties neatly organised and thoroughly documented. His outside interests include cycling and IT, and his valuable IT knowledge has been leveraged to provide essential technical assistance to both the company and our tenants.

Daughter of Andrew Young, Cara is the second fourth-generation member to be a director in the business.
